Quality Assurance Analyst

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Assurance Analyst located in Kathmandu. The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for conducting quality assurance and quality control activities, including manual testing, creating and executing test cases, and ensuring the overall quality of our AI solutions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing feedback to improve the product quality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with software/product designers to set quality assurance standards.
• Oversee the review and implementation of testing documents and procedures.
• Troubleshoot quality issues and modify test procedures as necessary.
• Plan, design, and execute test cases to ensure functional and performance requirements are met.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using programming languages and tools, ensuring they are modular and reusable.
• Conduct regression, functional, performance, load, stress, and integration tests to verify product integrity.
• Design and execute manual testing, system testing, and black box testing.
• Translate UI and business requirements into testable standards.
• Participate in requirements reviews to ensure clarity and testability.
• Use defect-tracking tools to manage application defects and change requests.
• Define and refine QA processes and methodologies to enhance quality and productivity.
• Conduct code reviews and participate in quality assurance reviews for compliance.
• Maintain documentation for test plans, cases, results, and QA processes.
• Generate reports on testing activities, defect status, and quality metrics.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 3 years as a QA engineer with a strong background in software testing methodologies, QA processes, test plan development, and both manual and automated testing.
• Proficient in bug identification and reporting using tracking systems.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is beneficial.
• Capable of evaluating and testing new or modified software programs, conducting system and regression tests.
• Competent in designing, developing, and implementing automated testing solutions.
• Familiarity with Web-Based and/or Client Server systems and log analysis.
• General knowledge of automated testing tools.High-level analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with agile methodologies.
